I wanted to send a quick email to explain the current status of Online Opticians UK.
We've just moved offices last weekend but the phone lines & internet have been installed to a brand new building and we are experiencing issues with it which has affected our ability to respond to enquiries.
Some staff are also unfortunately having to isolate at home due to a positive covid test result. This means that we have limited staff trying to complete all orders & manage the business which is proving very difficult but this is out of our control. We are doing our best & are prioritizing orders at the best rate we can but rest assured that orders are being processed behind the scenes.
I wish to remind all that prescription glasses are not a simple 'off the shelf' purchase, are quite complex and they take time to make, occasionally, things go wrong with that process and this delays the order delivery a little more.
The Easter weekend shutdown of post services will now also delay these orders even more.
We have an excellent rating on trustpilot as a whole and Im pleased to say the significant majority of our customers are very supportive & understanding of the difficult circumstances that we are all in, not just Online Opticians UK.
I would like to say to all customers that we are, & will fulfill all orders as efficiently as we can, and our normal operating standards & delivery will hopefully be back on track, at some point the week commencing 5th April, but there is a delay to them all at present which I apologise for. When there is any news on your order, such as a reglaze frame arriving or your order is being dispatched, we will send you an email.
If you wish to cancel your order, Id be grateful if you can simply email us and the query will be responded to as quickly as we can possibly can get round to it.
But, I can assure you, your order is in hand and will likely be dispatched next week in any event.
